Are you interested in working as a casual teacher assistant? Get prepared with this training program!
This three-day training program will provide you with an introductory look into the teacher assistant guidelines and policies, as well as an overview of the duties required to work on a casual basis as a teacher assistant.
If you attend the program, you can qualify to be paid for the three days if:
- You have successfully completed all three days
- Have worked three days following the training – you must work a minimum of three shifts after the training to qualify for payment (you will then receive payment for six days).
Applicants must be available for casual teacher assistant work at all SSRSB school locations.
Please note: Candidates will be contacted via the email provided on their application. You are required to bring a current Criminal Records Check and Child Abuse Registry search response letter with you on the first day of training.
Location – Bridgewater Junior High School – 100 York St, Bridgewater, N.S.
