The student votes will be tallied and presented to the Steering Committee. The Steering Committee will send the top three names to the Board for consideration and any/all final decisions, and communicate the name of the new school to all stakeholders.</p>

<li>Nominee must be a Canadian citizen of the full age of eighteen years at the time of nomination; and</li>

<li>Nominee is not disqualified under the Municipal Elections Act.</li>

The South Shore Regional School Board operates the Lunenburg Academy where Class Afloat holds their classroom component and houses their offices.</p>
<p>The South Shore Regional School Board would offer their thoughts and best wishes to the staff, crew, students and their families.
