What are our kids seeing, doing, saying and thinking about technology and social media? Are they safe? How is it affecting their identities and their relationships? And how can we, as parents and caring adults help them use technology effectively to connect, learn, think critically and be responsible digital citizens.
Many kids in general and kids with autism in particular can develop unhealthy fixations on the use of technology, social media, etc. This free event will explore issues related to the exposure to social media and online information and may provide you with some tips in setting limits or safeguards to address it.
Childcare will be offered and supper will be provided!
