Assistive Technology App of the Week - February 6, 2012
The assistive technology centre has chosen Tools4Students as their app of the week. This app helps students to organize their ideas, visually demonstrate relationships between ideas, display a sequence over time, visually summarize, depict a timeline and much more. The February 22, 2012 Board Meeting DRAFT agenda has now been posted. You can find a copy of the agenda HERE.
Members of the public may provide input on any agenda item by way of presenation to the Board, or by written submission.
Requests for presentations must be made to the Board Secretary by noon (12 p.m.) on Friday, February 10, 2012. Interested persons/organizations will generally be allotted 10 minutes for their presentation. The February Public Input Session will take place on Monday, February 20 at 7 p.m.
Written submissions are due by noon (12 p.m.) on Friday, February 17, 2012.

An Update: message from the Board to South Shore families
Hello South Shore Regional School Board families,
It has been two months since I was appointed by the Minister of Education, Ramona Jennex. I want to give you an update on what I have been doing in my role as your School Board. My focus is, and will continue to be, on providing the direction necessary to support all SSRSB students and their families.
Meet the Board at New Germany Rural High School Postponed due to Weather
Due to the current weather conditions, the "Meet the Board" meeting schedule for this evening at New Germany Rural High School has been postponed until Tuesday, February 21 at 7 p.m. We apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause.Your Opportunity to Graduate - Adult High School in Chester 2012
South Shore SchoolsPlus is looking for interested Adult Learners for its 2012 Adult High School in Chester. School will start on Tuesday, February 7, 2012. There is no cost and students will be accepted from any part of the South Shore; however, should more than seven adult learners show interest in the program, preference will be given to Chester-area residents.
