Join Petite Riviere Elementary School for food and fun at its annual Spring Fair taking place Saturday, May 26 at 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Activities include: Lottery Draw (Lobster Pot), Lobster Sandwiches, BBQ, ice cream sundaes, silent auction, surprise bags, face painting/hair feathers, custom-made jewelry, theme baskets, plant table, toy/book room, café, and music – featuring local talent. New activities this year include: “Bounce Around”, Paint Ball and Golf Putt.
Queens County Elementary Art Exhibition 2012
The time is drawing near for the Queens County Elementary Art Exhibit - The Rossignol Cultural Centre May 17- June 2, 2012. Students from Dr. John C. Wickwire Academy, Greenfield Elementary, Mill Village Consolidated, Milton Centennial and North Queens Community School (P-6) have been invited to put their work on display. Members of the public are welcome to visit the exhibit. Rossignol Cultural Centre opening hours are from Monday to Saturday 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

SSRSB Transportation Department Brings Home Gold Again

Bridgewater, NS – The South Shore Regional School Board has won its fourth consecutive Nova Scotia Pupil Transportation Gold Award. The awards are presented for exceptionally high scores in a number of safety and performance related areas.
SSRSB to host information session for School Board Candidates
Dear South Shore Community Member,
Are you or someone you know interested in becoming a member of the SSRSB elected School Board?
The South Shore Regional School Board (SSRSB) will host an information evening for all persons interested in learning more about becoming a member of the elected School Board.
The information session will take place on May 30, 2012, 6:30-9 p.m., in Boardroom ‘B’ at the SSRSB Regional Office. The evening’s agenda can be found HERE.
Treasure Island at North Queens Community School
