South Shore Regional School Board – Strategic Plan
In the fall of 2013, the South Shore Regional School Board began the process of consultation to develop a Strategic Plan to articulate its long-term goals and priorities and provide overall strategic direction for the region. This was a comprehensive process and consultation with partners and public were included.
“One of the most important roles of the Board is to develop and monitor the implementation of the multi-year Strategic Plan with a budget that supports it. It is the basis for all decision-making that will ultimately set the course for the next four years at the South Shore Regional School Board,” said Jennifer Naugler, Board Chair.
“The new Strategic Plan is a result of the hard work of numerous stakeholder group representatives,Board members and staff over the past year. Our next steps include establishing a work plan that will be reviewed annually with the Board to ensure we are meeting our targets in promoting student achievement and well-being,” said Geoff Cainen, Superintendent of Schools.
