Cyberbullying Taskforce Website and Survey
The SSRSB has receved a request for assistance around the DOE Cyberbullying Survey for Teachers, Students
"As you may already be aware, the Minister of Education has struck a task force to address the issue of cyberbullying in Nova Scotia. The task force and its working group consists of many individuals with expertise in working with children and youth. These people also want as much student and teacher input as possible in order to deliver practical recommendations by December of 2011.
Last week, the Department of Education launched an online survey on cyberbullying. Before students break for the summer, would you please advertise the survey within your school? If possible, it would be great if students could take a few minutes during school hours to complete the survey.
The URL for the Task Force website is: http://cyberbullying.novascotia.ca

Cyberbullying touches all of us in some way. Only together can we tackle this issue, and find ways to reduce this form of harassment. Your help is greatly appreciated."
